Employee Profiles

 

President: Don Thomas

Don determines office and shop staff assignments and responsibilities. He directs work load and packages estimated by his staff, reviews estimated packages of substantial bids, manages all man power assignments, schedules projects, and determines final project methodology during the estimating stage. He determines company project load and short and long term goals. Don oversees and directs all phases of finances, insurance, advertising, safety and quality control, and estimates and project manages the majority of TIC’s work load. Don also leads by example and provides his staff with the education and materials needed to ensure the prosperous growth of his company and the people within the organization.

Office Manager: Claudia Thomas

Claudia manages purchasing and payment systems, office inventory and company travel. She also oversees in-house insurance policies, and employee time-off. 

Safety Environmental Quality Control Manager: Wayne Long

Wayne maintains current knowledge of and implements applicable federal, state, local, company, and industry standards. He completes site audits and documents his findings for training records and job files.  Wayne also trains employees to achieve the highest level of safety awareness and quality craftsmanship.  He maintains and tracks safety, environmental, and quality control equipment.  Wayne also follows all federal, state and local sanctions on waste disposal and storage.

Project Managers / Estimators: Andy Hamersen, Dane McGraw, Don McComack, Don Thomas, Doug Rothweiler Eric Nenninger, John Lohkamp and Josh Teddleton

Each project manager / estimator solicits and reviews requests for bid. They present potential bids to staff members for review and discussion before contacting clients. If a project is chosen to be bid the estimator evaluates the project and prepares a bid based on production rates, wage rates, material cost, environmental and safety factors, overhead, and profit. If an estimator wins a bid, the submittals, insurance, bonding, ordering and scheduling are finalized and completed.  

In addition to soliciting and reviewing requests for bid, project managers / estimators perform pre-job reviews; establish project schedules; engineer necessary safety on the project; generate goals for each crew; when necessary manage project resolution which arise; implement TIC quality control throughout phases of work; administer testing and monitoring applicable; assist in assuring safe project practices and procedures; disposal for their projects; perform project close out and billing; and solicit partnering on future projects.

Accounting Manager: Betty Wosman

Betty handles all financial accounting for TIC. She also manages accounts payable and receivable, payroll and billing.

Accounts Payable Clerk: Linda Hahn

Linda is responsible for invoice distribution and approval, purchase orders, and she works with vendors and suppliers to accomplish complete and accurate credit invoicing.

Shop Foreman:

Organizes and manages all shop equipment and activity, directs equipment transportation and maintenance and replacement.

Mechanics: Kevin Kemp and Mark Beaman

Mark is a small engine mechanic.  Kevin is a fleet mechanic who works on all the other equipment. Both men undergo specialty training and are responsible for preventive maintenance checks and services, repairing, servicing and maintaining transit, specialized industry specific equipment, both motorized and non-motorized, in the shop and field.

Truck Drivers: Rob Killian and Jim Brown

Rob and Jim deliver equipment to and from project sites, operate applicable equipment, and assist TIC personnel at jobsites. They also maintain their DOT logbooks and update the appropriate drivers license and endorsements required to conduct their trucking responsibilities safely and efficiently.  Rob and Jim also maintain applicable DOT requirements in their day to day driving and job responsibilities.
